Let the festivities begin

Grace will be turning 5 this coming week. Instead of a big party, we decided to keep things small and simple this year. She really wanted to go bowling...again. I'm not sure if this is going to be a tradition with her, but we were happy to oblige. This is actually the first time going bowling here in CA.

Grace chose to have her good friend Selah join us. Good choice Grace! These two are 2 years apart, but you would never know it (well, except for the height difference). They get along so well!

Clark got to try his hand at it. He's got great potential. Go Clark!

And here I am holding my bowling ball with my ever-growing belly. I was trying to think of a clever caption for this one, but it just didn't sound right.

p.s. I don't think I ever posted the due date: Aug. 1st...our first summer baby!

Love your cute belly! Can't believe it was a year ago that we were at Grace's bowling b-day party. Jazlyn still misses Grace lots! Come visit soon--and you're right--we haven't talked for awhile!

Sterling keeps saying, "What's up Sack?" And I have to keep reminding him that we don't say "sack". I know he's 5, but it just doesn't sound right. And finally this week he said, "But Mom, Grace says it!" And I said, "Well, I'm pretty sure her mom doesn't let her say sack, I bet she's saying 'What's up Zach.'" Hopefully that fixes his potty mouth for a while. :) Anyway, we miss your family's bad influence on all of us! (You know that's a joke, right?) Love you guys! You are freaking adorable, Melissa, BTW.

Cute pictures...we may have to steal the bowling idea for Carson's 5th birthday this year. But I may not be so willing of a participant in a belly picture, seeing as how I will be 9 months pregnant then!
