I'm very sad to report...that Clark has started to refuse naps. He may nap 1 or 2 times during the week, but that is about it. After much frustration, I've come to grips with this new phase. I was anticipating him napping for at least another year (especially since Grace napped until she was 4!). But alas, he is definitely not like his sister. The hardest part of it all is that between the hours of 3pm til bed time (7pm) he is VERY cranky. So until his little body adjusts to this, we'll all just have to endure and enjoy our ever-growing little guy.

So sorry! When that happened to us, we instituted "quiet time" and the children still had to go lay down. They could take books with them. That was a sanity saver for me! Especially since at that age, I was usually expecting the next baby and needed the rest/break! Good luck!

Crazy how different little boys are from girls! Not that I have much to compare to but that's what I hear! Good luck with that! You've always been such a great mom, you can do it!

Marie was like that. She refused her crib and naps and bed time. She slept on the floor in the hall for a while. It was very fustrating but she finally settled for a bed and all of her babies with her. Hang in there!! Love ya, Mom

Bummer, dude! Zach napped until kindergarten, and when he started school and had to give up the nap, his little brother gave it up, too! Quite tragic! I hope you all survive!
