thanksgiving weekend

We stayed around town during the thanksgiving holiday (much to our families' dismay) and tried to see some of the sights. Last stop was the Getty Museum. The coolest part of it all is the view (of smoggy LA), and the art is nice to look at to. It sits a top a large hill and in order to get to it you have to park below then take a tram up. We definitely want to go back someday.

Earlier in the day we went to the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The area sure isn't as glamorous as you might think. Right outside of the Kodak Theater there tons of panhandlers dressed up as different characters. We didn't get our pictures taken with them...they kind of scare me.

And last but not least, we shared our thanksgiving table with Chris (a friend from Andy's work) and his mother and girlfriend. This was our third turkey day on our own, and I think it gets better every year. I wish I took a picture of the bird, it was beautiful and most delicious.

oh sure Chris...I've heard that one a dozen times. No, but that is just sad, because that was a beautiful picture!

Thanksgiving with friends is way more fun than the traditional Thanksgiving with family! (Don't tell my family I said that, though.)
