Fun Times

Last weekend (3.27-3.31) Andy's parents, Dan & Kathy came to visit. We had a really good time, and for once, no one got sick! On Saturday we took a little trip to the coast. Our first stop, Tillamook! They had cheese samples and the best ice cream!

The weather was pretty lousy, but we wouldn't let that stop us from enjoying our day at the beach!

This is Andy eating a 'sand'wich. Ha! Ha!

Here we are at Tillamook again enjoying a wonderful lunch and dessert!

Clark likes to stick out his tongue and I finally got a picture of it.

Since I was sick on Easter I missed out on getting the kids all dressed up. And especially since Grammy was there, all the more reason to dress them in their Easter outfits.

On Monday, we took a little tour at the Pittock Mansion. The weather was pretty lousy all weekend, so we had to look for indoor activites. But the mansion was impressive!

Some of Andy's cousins from Utah were also visiting their siblings, so we all got together. And it also happened to be Sharlyn's 27th Bday. (27th, right?)

One of the days we stopped to go to the temple grounds. I missed out since I had to feed Clark.

Eggstravaganza

Saturday night we colored some eggs with our friends, Sage and Ciara.

No need to explain this one.

On Sunday, only Grace and Andy went to church. I got an ear infection in the middle of the night. So Clark and I stayed home. Which was too bad, cause we had made some plans to have a fantastic Easter feast with some friends of ours (sorry Jaime!). As soon as I get her dress washed I'll post pictures of both kids in their easter outfits!

Sunday morning, before church I went to the doctor's to get some medication while Andy stayed home with the kids. While I was waiting for the doctor, Andy called to tell me that Clark rolled over (first time)! I can't believe I missed it! When I got home he did it again for me. What a great kid!

Oh, The Places We'll Go!

Last weekend my mom came to visit. So for fun we took Grace to the Children's Museum in Portland! That same evening, she (Grace) got sick with a bad cold, so we didn't do much else the rest of the weekend.

Here's a self portrait of Clark and I. I'm sure he enjoyed himself as well.

There is a life size photo frame. Hence the picture.

Then on Monday (Grace was feeling a lot better), after I dropped my mom off at the airport, a friend of mine invited us to go to another Children's Museum called the A.C. Gillbert Discovery House, in Salem. I didn't take any pictures but I wanted to show everyone just how cute this place looks. Something pretty cool here is that you can check out these 'cultural passes' to places like the Children's Museum from the library and just return them by the end of the day.

Then on Tuesday, it was $2 Tuesday at the Zoo. Again, I didn't take very many pictures, but this was probably the best one out of the bunch. And plus we didn't stay very long since it started to get cold and rainy.

Play, Play, Play

Yesterday was such a beautiful sunny day, we took advantage and played at the park!

Here Grace is riding a ladybug with her friend Sage.

This park is a bit different with no jungle gym, only rocks!

I couldn't believe how brave she was being, climbing her way to the top!

Clark had some fun of his own

Birthday Girl!

We celebrated Grace's 3rd Birthday this weekend. It all started with a pink cake (Grace's request). Don't look too close, it was pretty sad looking (fyi: let cake completely cool down before messing with it).

Ever since Grace was Jessie for Halloween, she has wanted a Jessie doll. Needless to say she was pretty excited to finally get one.

She also asked for some Lego's (after Andy gave her the idea!)

Her friend Blake gave her a play tent. I think it was the hit of the party!

This is one of Grace's good friends, Riley B. They always hug before parting.

It was a long day, but we really enjoyed ourselves!

This was Grace's idea. Happy Birthday Sweetie!

Our New Addition

Well, we did it! We finally bought the one thing Andy vowed he never would own. But after much persuasion and searching, we found our van. I love it! With just a push of a button, I can have two sliding doors open. And with all of the rain we get here, this will help me stay dryer! So now all we need to do is sell our Subaru. Anyone want to buy a car?

Superman

I just had to laugh when I saw Clark fall asleep like this

And then I laughed again when I saw him awake with the same finger in the mouth.

This past week Clark has been starting to pull this little pose. It's like he's about to take-off!
