Sunday Sampler

I was reading one of my favorite chapters
this morning in
the book of mormon.

I thought it
appropriate for this
time of year.

35 Now have we not reason to rejoice? Yea, I say unto you, there never were men that had so great reason to rejoice as we, since the world began; yea, and my joy is carried away, even unto boasting in my God; for he has all power, all wisdom, and all understanding; he comprehendeth all things, and he is a merciful Being, even unto salvation, to those who will repent and believe on his name.
37 Now my brethren, we see that God is mindful of every people, whatsoever land they may be in; yea, he numbereth his people, and his bowels of mercy are over all the earth. Now this is my joy, and my great thanksgiving; yea, and I will give thanks unto my God forever. Amen.

backstory:

little did we know that when we moved

into our place 2.5 years ago

there was a little boy

just 6 days younger than Clark

right next door.

Turns out (surprise, surprise)

they both love

legos, star wars, cars, etc.

Somedays we can't tear these two apart.

So it came as no surprise

that they had a blast together at

Disneyland

(my attempt at a self-portrait with Clark,

who at the time wanted nothing to do with being in a picture)

Come evening time,

it was just Clark and I...

and this little mouse.

Who knew that over that short period of time you would...

turn blonde

love getting haircuts

become a big Dodger's fan

quit napping by age two

(but sneak some in every now and then)

finally give up that binkey

be so fun-loving

keep us laughing

and love playing star wars, cars, legos and everything in between.
