Birthday Girl!

We celebrated Grace's 3rd Birthday this weekend. It all started with a pink cake (Grace's request). Don't look too close, it was pretty sad looking (fyi: let cake completely cool down before messing with it).

Ever since Grace was Jessie for Halloween, she has wanted a Jessie doll. Needless to say she was pretty excited to finally get one.

She also asked for some Lego's (after Andy gave her the idea!)

Her friend Blake gave her a play tent. I think it was the hit of the party!

This is one of Grace's good friends, Riley B. They always hug before parting.

It was a long day, but we really enjoyed ourselves!

This was Grace's idea. Happy Birthday Sweetie!

Our New Addition

Well, we did it! We finally bought the one thing Andy vowed he never would own. But after much persuasion and searching, we found our van. I love it! With just a push of a button, I can have two sliding doors open. And with all of the rain we get here, this will help me stay dryer! So now all we need to do is sell our Subaru. Anyone want to buy a car?

Superman

I just had to laugh when I saw Clark fall asleep like this

And then I laughed again when I saw him awake with the same finger in the mouth.

This past week Clark has been starting to pull this little pose. It's like he's about to take-off!

Baby Whisperer

Since moving here to Oregon I have met some wonderful friends. One of which is named Julie. She is also known as the 'baby whisperer.' I was skeptical at first, but she has far exceeded my expectations. When Grace was a baby, I could never get her to take a binky. I thought Clark was going to be just like his older sister. Every time I tried to give him one, he would kind of chew on it, then would start to gag. But just when I felt I no longer wanted to be a human pacifier, Julie asked if she could take Clark for an hour to see if she could get him to take it for her. I was overjoyed when I returned to see my son content, just sucking away! To me, this was and still is a complete miracle. I love you Julie!

Deja Vu

This picture was taken in 2004. These were the wonderful ladies (Rachel Kasteler, Arlene Condie, me, Mary Timmell) I served with when we lived in Salt Lake. I was the 2nd counselor in Young Women's. I loved that calling and all the young women! Today I received a new calling as 2nd counselor in the YW's. I'm looking forward to this calling once again. It will certainly have it's new challenges, especially now that I have 2 kids.
