Still Waiting!

As you can see (from Grace's perspective) I am still with child.

So to make the most of Grammy's visit, we went to Lake View Farm today to pick pumpkins! To get to the pumpkin patch, we took a little train ride. Then to bring the pumpkins back we took a boat ride back.

Then once we were back on shore, we took this picture of Grace.

A DAY AT THE BEACH, LITERALLY!

This weekend Andy and I decided to take a little trip to the coast (before Clark arrives) and while the weather is still nice. Speaking of which, the weather couldn't have been more perfect! We first stopped in Astoria, a cute little tourist town, and where The Goonies house is located. While there at the house to take a few pictures, we could hear a bunch of seals off in the distance. So we drove down to the dock, to get a closer look. There were tons of them (seals) just lounging around the pier. Andy got as close as he could to take some shots before they started barking at him.

We then headed for Cannon Beach. I couldn't believe how beautiful the ocean was! For the first part, Grace refused to take her shoes off and walk barefoot on the sand. She didn't want to get her feet dirty! But once we put her shoes back on and she discovered a few rocks, she couldn't get enough of the sand!
On our way home (which was also a beautiful drive!) we stopped at a restaurant called Camp 18. It used to be a logging mill on mile marker 18. Andy had eaten there with some people from work when they were out there to shoot reference pictures. All the food seemed delicious! But dumb me, ordered a taco salad (something I could order at Artic Circle). I was so mad at myself! I could of had a delicious steak or the like. But I better stop referring to it, or else I'll get hungry and upset!

And the award goes to...

Grace has become quite the little photographer. So I thought I would show everyone her recent work of art. The first piece I'll call 'my grammy'. This was taken the first day we moved into our new place. We were without our stuff for a couple of days, hence the sitting on the floor.

This picture was taken at the zoo. So we might as well call it 'feed my parents (especially my mom!)'.

This final piece I'll title 'crouching daddy, hidden mommy'.
